Whenever I launch NW Simulate, it also opens a browser tab to the Help page. How can I get this behavior to stop?

This could be managed from the Advanced Options Editor:

Press and hold the Shift key while opening Options Editor from the Application button and uncheck Show Help on first run.

Thanks for the reply! I was looking for something like that, but couldn't
find it. That said, I still can't find it using the options menu. I'm
assuming you are referring to the options menu that I can get to when I
click the Navisworks symbol at the top left of the screen? Holding shift
doesn't appear to do anything different. I also tried the file options tab,
and again, holding shift appeared to have no effect.

I don't have NW 2023 yet but this option worked with me in 22 and earlier releases of NW!

Hunh, this is odd. I haven't needed to open Simulate 2023 for several days, and now that I've opened it, the help browser did not pop up. I opened it again with the same result. When I went to the advanced options menu, the help box was already unchecked, so no action needed there. It seems this problem resolved itself on its own.

As an aside, I went into Simulate 2022 and tried to go into the advanced options menu using the shift key, but did not get anything other than the typical options tree. I don't really need it, but thought it was interesting I didn't have that option.

Thanks for the help everybody, appreciated.

Not sure why it’s not working with you but congrats for having it solved!

So.... As long as this string is still open, I have a similar problem I was hoping could be resolved. When I start Navis my default action appears to be the refresh function. Is there any way to change this so that the select function is the default upon startup? It's a small thing, but an annoyance nonetheless.

have you tried to alter the current workspace in the View tab>Workspace panel?

Oh wow, I did not know to do that. I imagine that will also help with all the quick access buttons I've set up. Thanks again!

Sure, you can add and remove buttons from the ribbon and the Quick Access toolbar as well.
