Grids and Levels are greyed out

like described above the Grids and Levels tab is completely greyed out.

Can this be fixed?

I have tried with appended files and without. in both cases these options are greyed out 😕

The show grid tool is active when a file or files are opened / appended and is greyed out if you just have a new Navisworks file .

That doesn´t seem the case here. No matter what i append or do the interface in this section is still greyed out.

Ok  after a bit of testing using Revit.

If the Revit file has a Grid then the show grid tool is active.

If the Revit file doesn't have a grid then the show grid tool is greyed out.

Then after little digging and I found this comment posted in 2017

The commands in the view tab are only available when a Revit file is attached that contains a grid.

All other grids (in CAD files, IFC or other applications) are not supported, from version 2014 until current version 2017.
