Feedback to improve the transform tool.

Using Mangage 2017 on Windows 10

The transform tool desperately needs some revamping/bug checking/changing.

1. Reset transform does nothing for me. If I screw up a movement/rotation, I would think the reset transform button would start over. It does not. I have to delete that file  and re append.

2. Why even have the separate buttons to click for rotate and move? All of the input boxes are already there and ready to fill in anyway. Just an unnecessary extra step and annoyance.

3. Stop making the transform menu disappear if my mouse moves off of it. If I click in a box and it has a blinking cursor, it is because I am expecting to type something. So many times I click in a box and start typing just to see that it has gone away because I bumped my mouse a little.

4. The default transform centerpoint should be 0. I insert files at A0 and rotate around that point. Then I move. I have to zero out all of the transformation centerpoints every time I rotate which wastes time.

5. The input boxes need to be bigger. The coordinates never fit into the tiny boxes so selecting is a hassle.

6. Don't know if it is a bug or what but it affects me and all of my coworkers. I can enter a value for x and hit enter. Then click in the input box for y and try to input some numbers and nothing happens. It's like num lock is on but it's not. I click around, move the cursor, press tab, press enter, anything until it finally works. WTF? It's like this for everybody I know at my office.

7. This is how moving an object 1 foot in the x direction, 2 feet in the y direction, and 3 feet in the z direction should work.

     a) select the object in the selection tree.

     b) bring up the transform menu.

     c) click in the first box. All text in that box should highlight so that I can just start typing.

     d) 1-0 tab 2-0 tab 3-0 enter. Transformation complete.
