Hello,

Can I convert nwd file to 3D format such as STEP, IGES, etc.?

Not easily; it involves several steps of exporting to FBX, then converting to another format.  It's not designed for this purpose, and you risk losing accuracy each step along the way.  It's more for sharing data-rich 3D models in a semi-secure format that cannot be easily converted.

Ghazi,

You can try to use Autodesk Fusion 360, it can transform data from your data to needing IGES or STEP, but you must import non NWD file, only initial data that you download to Navisworks. Look on screen below to watch available data formats:

Of course you can export FBX from NWD, but at that step as already wrote David in previous message, you may lost some geometry or accurance of model (actuall for CAE/FEA programms - to sent them geometry of bulding or surface)

then no you can't

you need to have the person your getting the nwd files from to convert the files for you
