Clash detective custom rule

Hi folks,

I want to be able to run an internal clash test in navisworks for a structural model. When I run the clash detective without any rules, it finds clashes that are not real. Such as a beam with a column.

For that I want to create a rule that ignores clashes with:

- structural framing & floors

- structural framing & structural columns

- structural framing & structural framing

- walls & structural columns

- walls & structural framing

- walls & floors

- floors & structural columns

However to create such a rule, there is no option in the rule editor such as, Specified Properties with Specified Values

How can I achieve this? Any ideas are appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Hi @psynan,

there is an easy way to do that. Apply a custom parameter to each group and then you can say to ignore the elements with that parameter in the custom rule.

Best
