Hi all,
How can I obviate in navisworks a clash between insulation pipe with the same pipe? Its the same with ducts. A duct with insulation, Navis reads that as a clash between both.
Thanks.

Hi @Sergio.Ramirez2,
You can use the set of rules in the Clash detection to avoid clash generation for duct and duct insulation, pipe and insulation as shown in the attached image.
If your Items are in Same Layers and you checked that option in rules, then yes it will avoid.
Not exactly. as you asked "if i want to report one clash between pipe and another pipe that rule will avoid it too right?"
If you checked in clash rules option - "Items in same layer" that mean if another pipe is also in same layer then only it will avoid clash, if it is in other layer then it will show clashes.
For example, You want to run clash between Mechanical Pipe and Gas Pipe. Now you assigned layer for Mechanical Pipe as Layer 1 then you have to assign gas pipe in layer 2 then only it will show clash if "Items in same layer" is checked in rules. because rules are given to understand among all the rules options, in which category you want to avoid clash and you checked ""Items in same layer". So, if both Mechanical pipe and Gas pipe you assigned Layer 1 then it will avoid.
Confirm if you still have any doubts.
