Advance steel not visible

When I append a Advance Steel .dwg model it isn't visible.  I have installed the object enabler for AS and still nothing.

Object enabler works with AutoCAD when Advanced Steel is not installed to open Advanced Steel models.

If you have Advanced Steel and you want to Append your model in Navisworks, try to Explode all advanced steel objects first, then save your model as DWG and then append it in Navisworks.

Alternatively, you could export different file formats from Advance Steel (like IFC, etc.) and then append them in Navisworks.

If you don't have Advanced Steel, but you have installed Object Enabler, try to open your model with Autocad. I'm not sure if it will work, but try to explode Advance Steel objects then save and append this model in NW.

That might be taking it to far. To the OP, delete any NWC files after installing the OE then try open/append the AS file again.

Yea I tried deleting the .nwc files and re-appending the .dwg and still nothing.  When i click on the scene statistics it still tells me that a OE is required.

Have you installed the Advance Steel Object Enabler for your Navisworks version?

Yea i have downloaded the OE for Advance steel.

you can too export DWFx and append in navisworks

Yea you can but I have a colleague that uses Manage and has no problem appending .dwg's without any trouble.

That will come in handy when I upgrade to 2022 but for right now I'm still running 2021 products.
