We are attempting to install Navis Freedom Viewer 2018 on our Citrix Virtual PC and after install, this "free" tool seems to be wanting a license?    Has anyone seen this before?

You are running Navisworks in a remote session.

Navisworks is a graphically demanding application.  Performance will be greatly reduced.

You are responsible for abiding by the terms of the End User License Agreement.  A fixed license may not be accessed remotely.  A separate floating license is required for each remote session.

Thins is I have 25 floating licenses of Navisworks anyway, I just wanted one customer to be able to view some design files.

Help.

hi,

Please note that this is a forum for discussing topics related to developing 3rd party add-on applications for Navisworks. There is a more general Navisworks forum which is better suited for this type of question.

That being said - the dialog you describe is normal - it has nothing to do with licensing. It is a warning dialog to let you know that Navisworks was never intended to be run on citrix and that it will not give the normal to be expected graphics performance because to get that you will need to install the freedom application directly on the pc instead of using it via citrix.
