How to Edit XML for catalog in Naviswork Quantification?

Hi,

I'm looking to add cost and dates as per planned and actual cost in my Quantification Takeoff. So while reading in excel for quantities I may able to read dates and cost as well ( cost input could be manual).

I'm guessing it could be done via Editing TakeoffConfigurationTemplate.xml file. Is it right way by editing catalog xml file? If another method is available, please share.

Yes it is possible to add new columns in your exported result xml file and load this file back.

It's important - your new columns added to your result xml file must are already defined in 2 configuration xml files.

After successfull loading in quantification modified result xml file you should add and edit data in that columns.
