From the model item, we are getting a bounding box. Is this bounding box related only to the model item, or to the entire model? If it is related only to the model item, how can we calculate the X, Y, Z coordinates and orientation of that model item?
It's the bounding box of the model item itself. It's aligned to the model X/Y/Z axis. It's not an aligned cuboid that would be the best fit to the model item geometry. So you can't get the orientation of the model item, whatever that would mean 😉
