Export FEM deformed shape

Does Nastran In-CAD has a tool similar to "Make FEM", available in Simulation Mechanical?

I need to use a buckled shape as input for strees analysis.

Hi @sernama,

It is not possible to export the deformed mesh from a Nastran In-CAD analysis to be used in another Nastran In-CAD analysis. For non-linear static analyses subcases will act as a continuation from the previous subcase by default. When this behavior is not desired the NLSUBCREINIT parameter can be turned on.

Best Regards,

Andrew
