Normal, AO, Dispace use a window really loooooooooonnnnng and similar a toy.
I think that is necessari a restyle of UI in different area and preset for 3ds, maya and Softimages (someone use it already?)

Mudbox is a powerfull software expecially in painting but in many occasion UV are lost or the objs not have.
We need to have a better UnWrap UV inside mudbox better respect 3ds and / or Maya.

Would like to be able to paint in the UV view. To be useful, this would require:
- Split 3D/UV View
- Display Options (current layer/channel/mask/all)
- Toggle wireframe

One of the most powerful features of ZBrush is to use a stamp and see its effect on the mesh immediately. Imprint comes closest but it only shows a 2D image until applied to the mesh. When using alpha maps it is quite powerful to see the effect in real time - rotate, scale it until it looks good and then apply the map. In Mudbox it's a lot of apply/undo/apply/undo.

Would like to be able to paint into a buffer and choose when to project down, like in Mari. This allows for real-time painting onto huge texture maps.

Currently the Object List is still missing essential features. For example: + Grouping + Reordering Also, I am not sure if having materials and objects in the same view is ideal (it's called Object List after all). Adding a second tab for materials might make more sense. This way it would be easier to manage more complex scenes. The Object List gets messy very quickly and there is no way to 'clean it up'.

You should be able to delete multiple paint layers at once, not one at a time. You should be able to shift-select paint layers, or delete an entire channel.
