Mudbox Random Crashing

Hi there folks ,

I have been using mudbox for years and years but recently it seems to just randomly crash during the sculpting process , I cannot find any pattern to what triggers it . I will just be sculpting like regular and then it freezes followed by immediately closing . Does anyone have any experience with this at all ?

I have tried updating my graphics card drivers as well as deleting my preferences , none of which seemed to help things . I use mudbox as my main sculpting app and much prefer it to anything else , so any ideas at all please let me know

I forgot to mention  that this has only been happening since I upgraded from a gtx 1080 ti to a rtx 3090 ti . I installed new drivers for it of course .Mudbox was very stable before this , did I miss a step during the upgrade process that might cause such an issue?

If you are using Mudbox 2023, you should to go back to the 2019.1 version.

The 2023 version is totaly unusable, and unstable, and with no valuable new functions.

Autodesk made the 2023 practicaly useless.

Okay after much trial and error I think I have figured out the problem . I noticed it was only crashing when using my wacom , never with my mouse . I am using a 'slim' wacom stylus that has 8000 pressure sensitivity levels . In my tablet preferences I set it to comply with older applications that limit this sensitivity to about 1000 , and it has not crashed since .
