Autodesk is a company on decay.

Actualy them are focused on save the M&E with the 3DSMAX beta.

All the Mudbox team was moved to the 3DSMAX development.

They are scared of Blender.

My tip: for pure sculpting, start using 3DCoat. Is much better, and performance powerfull than Zbrush, and easy to learn.

Blender can sculpt fine to, but is not so dinamic than 3DCoat,(by the momment).

Sadly, I had to abandon Mudbox, but every day I pray for Autodesk to release Mudbox, for other people with real enthusiasm to continue developing it as Mudbox deserves. As happened a year ago with Sketchbook Pro.

Any proof of that?
Possible sculpting  features was removed from Max's roadmap...

As a long time user of mudbox who jut renewed his license, I feel so spoiled.

Yesterday I realized that I could not even apply an adjust color on a mask, what can you say about it ?...

Same thing in maya though, not being able to remap a texture pluged in a nCloth Attr, as a 20 year maya customer, I'm highly considering moving our studio on Maxon's products...

As for me, reliance is broken.
