Animation root offset away from ground in MoBu with ActorCore anim.

Hi there, I donwload animation and dummy model from ActorCore
Animation:https://actorcore.reallusion.com/3d-motion/free?asset=stand-to-sit_251123

And I followed the tutorial and use the define template provided by ActorCore:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lI98Mgqcxvg&t=1s

When I import the animation to the Mobu, my animation's root is offset and leaves the ground.

It also happens when I use other animations. like "Run to blast"

I check the animation curve, Mobu's translation curve are different from Maya(Seems Mobu exchange the Y and Z axis.)

How can I fix this? Thank you

I solved it by saving the animation again as Y-up in Maya. Not sure why I need this. The animation file download from ActorCore might have something weird.

I had the similar problem so I could open one file with correct Y axis but if I did motion file import to get in more animation takes it got wrong. So I had to merge in the other takes one by one to keep correct Y animation.

If an ActorCore animation in MotionBuilder (MoBu) has a root offset issue (floating above the ground), it may be due to incorrect root positioning. 🎭 Check the root joint in the character hierarchy and ensure it aligns properly with the ground plane. 📏 Use MotionBuilder’s "Zero Out Translation" or manually adjust the root height to fix misalignment. 🔧 You can also try baking the animation onto a control rig and adjusting offsets before reapplying it. 🚀 If issues persist, reimporting the animation with correct retargeting settings may help. 🔄
