Dear Students, Educators and IT Administrators as educational institutes,
I’m very excited to share the news that Moldflow single user subscription licenses are available for Students and Universities. This new license type easy to administer and does not need direct access to a network license server.
For Students:
Students from qualified education institutions can have access to a free Moldflow Adviser Ultimate Single User Subscriptions for a year. Once your eligibility is confirmed and you are signed in with your student Autodesk ID you can go to the ‘get products page’ and look for ‘Fusion with Moldflow Adviser’, and click select.
Important: Even if your software is already installed on the device you’re using, you must click Download on the product card to trigger your product entitlement. Some helpful instructions can be found here in case you get access to Moldflow Adviser through your university.
For Educators:
Educators can get access to both individual licenses and 250 licenses for teaching and (public) research for free, for one year. You will have access to both Fusion with Moldflow Adviser and Moldflow Insight single user subscriptions. The page here will have a lot of good detailed information for you on how to access and assign access to your students. The product tiles below from your ‘Get products’ page are the Named user products.
Network licenses are no longer available to Educators (but IT admins can still request them, see below)
For School IT administrators:
IT administrators at qualified educational institutions an get access to up to 3000 single user subscriptions Moldflow product seats (for 3 years). The Network licenses are also still available. Important details can be found here.
VERY IMPRTANT If you need to change from a Network license to a Named User license (or single user subscription) or the other way around, you can do this using the Moldflow License Configuration tool. (C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Moldflow Synergy 202X\bin\mlc.exe).
Best regards,
