Dear Moldflow User Community,
I'm pleased to let you know that the Moldflow Scandium 2021 Technology Preview is available for download. Project Scandium provides access to new functionality that is still in development and which we could use additional feedback.
All the Scandium 2021 Technology Preview features are already embedded in the standard Autodesk Moldflow Insight 2021 solvers, including Linux and cloud solvers. This means that for the first time, technology preview features can be run using Linux and cloud computing resources. Access to the technology preview features is achieved replacing a few data files. Also for the first time the Scandium Features are available on a TokenFlex (TFLEX) license.
The Scandium Technology Preview build contains the following development capabilities:
- Assembly analysis
- Anisotropic Thermo-Viscoelastic Residual Stress Model
- Tiger Stripe Prediction
- Underflow diagnostic
- Fiber concentration
- Annealing analysis with viscoelastic material properties for midplane and Dual-Domain
- Shrinkage calibrated coefficient of thermal expansion for unfilled semi-crystalline materials
- Thickness shrinkage scheme for residual stress accuracy improvement
