Does the computation speed of Moldflow depends on CPU or GPU

We are seeking guidance on our upgrade of our workstation. We were wondering if GPU can help boost our computation speed if we decide to run a big mold project. Since Nvidia says GPU can accelerate moldflow with its linear equation solver, we were wondering if anyone know how good is the acceleration? Many thanks

Hi,
The Moldflow Insight solvers currently depends on CPU.

For quite some years ago (15?) Moldflow Insight solvers utilized Nvidia GPU and CUDA technology.
It was phased out at some point.

Further, it was raised an enhancement request in Moldflow Ideas:
"GPU Accelerated Moldlfow Simulation" 

Autodesk is currently investigating this.
