Analysis results are missing or not available or generated

Hi all,

I ran Fill+Pack analysis for a part, once completed  i could able to find flow values depicted in analysis log.  But flow results plot were not available in results task bar.

I did try by restarting the computer, but it didnt work .

Whats is the reason and solution for it ?

P.S: Attached image is reference for the same.

Thanks in advance

Issue:An analysis sequence is set and run and analysis complete appear
Results may be missing from the sequence.

For example, in Cool + Fill + Pack analysis, the analysis completes, but the Cool results do not appear.  Or when running a fill+pack analysis, only the Sink & Weld line results are populated.
Solution:Please try the following options to obtain the missing results (if they exist):

1. Add default plots
  • Right click the results icon User-added image in the study pane
  • Choose "Add default plots"
2. Delete the .rfn files which control the analysis status icons
  • Close the project
  • Delete all files with the extension *.rfn in the project directory (note: all information about stopped or failed analyses will be lost)
  • Reopen the project
  • Reopen the study
3. Copy the problem study into a new study
  • Make a new project
  • Import the study into the new project.
4. For releases 2016 or before
  • Locate and change to the temporary directory for the project (default is: C:\ASMI 201x Temporary Files\mfx )
  • Locate the relevant *.udm file for the study that misses results.
  • Rename the *.udm file to *.sdy
  • Import the renamed *.sdy file to the project
5. Ensure that you have adequate space in both the temporary and project directories where the analysis is solving.
  • If you are running low on space in either directory, clear out old projects to make room, or change the location of the directory to one with more available space. Then rerun the analysis.
6. For 2017.3 or above
  • Close the project
  • Delete all files with the extension *.rfn in the project directory (note: all information about stopped or failed analyses will be lost)
  • Locate the temporary files in the c:\programdata\autodesk\sjm\ws directory
  • There will be sub directorys that will contain the result files
  • Copy the file to the project directory
  • Re-open the project

*If the results are still not visible, they do not exist and the analysis needs to be rerun.
