Thanks for your reply.The 2 photos show what happens. The Fusion 360 file is completely new, then when I change it to an STL file and put it into Meshmixer it comes up as one that I did some time ago. I have removed the old Meshmixer and replaced it with a new one, re-made a new version of the item in Fusion 360 and then converted it into an STL file which then goes into Meshmixer and that's what it becomes. I've tried all sorts of things to get the right Meshmixer setup to npo avail. RegardsTony

What makes you think it is the same file? Based on what metrics.

 

I've never heard of this issue with MM, so I dont think its MM. Can you import any other .stl into MM? If so then its probably a Fusion360 export issue, and not MM.
