Trouble selecting very thin faces

Hi!

Been using meshmixer for quite some time now but sometimes I have trouble selecting/deleting very thin triangles on a mesh. Even with zoom, selecting back faces, or using really big size brush value when selecting, I end up with this very thin blue (edge) lines and can't get rid of them.

Any trick?

Thanks!

First thing is to try EDIT/CloseCracks to weld open boundaries.

If there are still cracks try BrushMode = SphereBrush. This mode selects faces within a sphere and doesn't "jump" from one side of the crack to another.

Another trick is to select and separate the region around such a crack temporarily so that the tiny stretched face isn't connected to the mesh any more. Now select a region on the mesh to keep, ExpandToConnected > Invert > Discard. That done Combine the separated piece again > CloseCracks to weld it > Inspector to repair the hole.
