Meshmixer too slow (solution)

I have found that meshmixer uses the location of imported file as a temporary file space while working with the model.  I have my STLs stored on a network drive and when meshmixer works with the model it swaps data back and forth over my local network making the operation extremely slow.  Autodesk need to allow a definition of where temporary data is stored in the preferences menu.  Moving the model to a local hard disk greatly speeded up most operations.
