Meshmixer not offering "sequence" options (STL Binary Sequence ... , etc)

In Meshmixer 3.5.474 I have done:
> Import STL
> Select an area
> Create Facegroup
> Generate Complex
> Split Complex

Now I want to export the two resultant objects, which will require STL Binary Sequence, One file per Region ... but that option does not appear in the menu (as seen in the screencast)

Of course, when I choose the available STL option, I get a warning that the object is a complex, and the result may not be valid.  Sure enough, the result is not openable by any app I've tried.

How do I make the necessary STL Binary Sequence ... option appear on the Export format options?  Or what do I need to do differently?

You need to export the something(complex) object  (NOT the split parts) to get the sequence options in the export's format dropdown.
