When I select the export to Meshmixer option under the save as STL menu Fusion will launch Meshmixer, Meshmixer will open and the part will appear in the build area but then I get a Windows notification that Meshmixer has crashed.  Tried this several times. Close Fusion and relaunched, same results.  Windows 8.1 system, fresh install of Meshmixer.

Did you try deleting the .ini file I mentioned in my post?

When i reinstalled meshmixer to fix a fail to launch issue, i had to "manually" erase any meshmixer data. since the uninstall app leaves unwanted files behind.

So after uninstalling, system search meshmixer and delete anything that isn't a project, before reinstalling.

I tried reinstalling like 20 times and updated every driver before i thought of this! hope it helps.

I believe Meshmixer is (effectively) Abandonware. Do you have an ongoing requirement or is this simply a one-off (or close) need? Can you share the file you need assistance with and your aims/needs?

was this meant to be a reply to a thread elsewhere?

That was a mistake in moving threads and posts. It has now been sorted out, thread and responses are now back together, and the thread itself in the appropriate forum, too.
