How to save segmented dental model as stl with teeth still segmented?

I am trying to segment individual teeth on a dental model, then save as an stl, so that the teeth stay segmented when opened in another programme (Geomagic).

I am new to this, sorry!  I am gradually figuring out how to segment the teeth, and create a new face group from each tooth.  If I highlight them all in the Object Browser and Export, Geomagic reports that the stl is corrupt or an invalid format.

How do I save this as an stl?  Am I missing something?

Here's one attempt with a couple of teeth segmented, thanks.

Thanks. You will need to export each item separately.

If you want them as one file though. you can try highlighting all 3 items, then exporting as a 'STL ASCII' instead of 'STL Binary'.

Thank you!

Saving them all separately allows me to import them into Geomagic, and they seem to align.  I will need to check to be certain, but it looks like you are the genius I needed!

Exporting as ascii seems not to work, but this should.
