Having issue with Create FaceGroup CTRL-Z

I have selected an area on stl model. I then attempt to modify and create facegroup and my highlighted selection disappears. Its as if I never selected an area. What am I doing wrong. I assume when a facegroup is created it stays highlighted but the color changes.

Thanks in advance,

Israel

Ctrl+Z (Cmd+Z on Mac) is the shortcut for Undo.

Instead Ctrl+G (Cmd+G on Mac) is the shortcut for CreateFaceGroup.

CreateFaceGroup does NOT keep the selection but you should get a new group (with a new color in MeshColorMode = GroupColor > see Preferences or Hotbox). In SELECT such a group is easily selected by double clicking it.
