Hacking presets in Meshmixer

Hi all,

I use Meshmixer mainly for hollowing out models before printing and wondered if there was a way to change the preset hollow tool of 2.00mm?

Every time I use the hollow tool it automatically uses the 2.00mm setting before I can change it to my requried wall thickness. I know its not much, but,  when I have 30-40 models to hollow out at a time, it can drag on.

 Thanks

Nope unfortunately not, but you could combine all models into one object and just run it once.

Or automate doing it with the mmAPI.

What I ended up doing was messing around with some scripts to automate the process—it didn’t change the preset, but it did save me some time by adjusting the thickness automatically for each model. I also tried combining models into one to speed things up. I came across a few helpful tips on this page that might be worth checking out if you're trying to do the same thing.
