Folder of my parts

Hello to all,

i have created some objects and stored it to meshmix > my parts.

I would like to syncronise this folder with my notebook but can not find the path.

Where to find it ?

Thanks 🙂

At a default installation of MM the path is

C: (or MacOS)/Users/YourName/Documents/meshmixer/libraries/parts/user/My Parts

You may organise your parts adding different folders in the user directory (let's say some "Plants" folder). You might move a bundle of part files belonging together (eg: a something.obj + something.obj.png + something.obj.prt) from MyParts to such a "Plants" folder via file browser. MM will show this folder after a new start.

MM will add a new part you create to the last used folder on the user level.

You might also move important folders containing part bundles from

C: (or MacOS)/Users/YourName/Documents/meshmixer/libraries/parts/user

to

C: (or MacOS)/Users/YourName/Documents/meshmixer/libraries/parts/default

The only difference of these locations is that one can't discard parts stored at default via RMB-click in MM.

You might also remove not needed folders from default via file browser.
