I have an stl of a skull that I need to modify. There are basically 2 modifications that I need to make:
1. Add a flat platform in order to mount a servo.
2. Fill in the area under the platform so that there will not be a need for convoluted support structures when printing.
I added a primitive cube for the platform for item #1, but part of the corner extends beyond the outside of the skull. I tried deleting the triangles that extended beyond the outside surface of the skull, but it left some "holes" on the inside that I can't properly fix. I tried the inspector, and it would fix the hole in the platform, but it isn't a continuation of the flat plane on top so it creates a "hole" from the platform to the skull.
Any suggestions on the proper way to fix this?
In regard to #2, I was able to close off the area that I need to be solid, but I can't figure out haw to actually dill in the space.
Any suggestions?
Thanks
