You can't setup a circular print volume via MM's GUI.

But here's a workaround:

1. Create a custom printer in MM:

Let's say you put in "MyPrinters" as the Manufacturer and "MyDelta" as the Model. Define the PrintVolumeDimension were Width and Depth is its diameter.

Click Add to store this printer and close Meshmixer.

2. Now browse to your meshmixer directory (by default it is within your Documents directory). Inside meshmixer is a "printers" directory containing a "printers.xml" file. Open this file in a text editor. Using its search functionality search for "MyDelta". This should lead you to a section like this:

printersXML.jpeg

Edit its line

<BedShape>Rectangular</BedShape>

to

<BedShape>Circular</BedShape>

and save the edited file.

Now start MM and your printer should show up as a circular one:

MyPrinters.jpeg

Forgot: If you edit the printer via MM's GUI again (e.g. setting a different size) it will fall back to a rectangular one and you've to do the procedure again. Same happens to default deltas as the Wasp printers shipping with MM.

You need to understand that current Meshmixer is a result of an Autodesk Research group. ATM you can't compare it to a polished product.

Agree, a simple toggle rectangular/circular would do the job to setup a delta. There are tons of such simple improvements one could do in MM... But isn't it nice that it is doable?

I'm on Mac but think its the same on WIN:

Do you use a different earlier version of MM on WIN7?

They changed the printer configuration with MM3.3. To setup a custom printer in earlier versions one needed to copy a custom_printers.xml (in the same directory) and edit this... Not sure if circular beds were supported on that time.
