Basic help to import an ASCII stl file into Meshmixer

I'm new to 3D printing, and have written Java software to generate several

very simple ASCII files with the extension .stl.   My numbers look good, but

Meshmixer gives error messages when I try to import them.  Furthermore,

when I have NOT run Meshmixer, and write an STL file into any

disk directory, Meshmixer

applies its icon to the file listing of the directory.  I think the numbers in

my very simple files are correct, but I am not certain that their basic

Windows-level structure is.  Could someone please send me a very simple

ASCII stl file that works.  I am using a Windows 7 computer.  Thanks,

Attached a minimal tetrahedron (4 faces only).

Opened in a text editor it looks like:

solid "Tetra"
  facet normal 0 -1 0
    outer loop
      vertex 0 5.96046447754e-08 -5.96046447754e-08
      vertex 10 5.96046447754e-08 -5.96046447754e-08
      vertex 5 5.96046447754e-08 8.xxx-xxxxxxxx
    endloop
  endfacet
  facet normal 0 0.333332687616 -0.942809283733
    outer loop
      vertex 0 5.96046447754e-08 -5.96046447754e-08
      vertex 5 8.xxx-xxxxxxxx 2.xxx-xxxxxxxx
      vertex 10 5.96046447754e-08 -5.96046447754e-08
    endloop
  endfacet
  facet normal -0.xxx-xxxxxxxx 0.333326369524 0.471416115761
    outer loop
      vertex 0 5.96046447754e-08 -5.96046447754e-08
      vertex 5 5.96046447754e-08 8.xxx-xxxxxxxx
      vertex 5 8.xxx-xxxxxxxx 2.xxx-xxxxxxxx
    endloop
  endfacet
  facet normal 0.xxx-xxxxxxxx 0.333326369524 0.471416115761
    outer loop
      vertex 10 5.96046447754e-08 -5.96046447754e-08
      vertex 5 8.xxx-xxxxxxxx 2.xxx-xxxxxxxx
      vertex 5 5.96046447754e-08 8.xxx-xxxxxxxx
    endloop
  endfacet
endsolid "Tetra"

This should load fine in MM
