align models

Hello! I have one (i hope that quick) question:

How can i align two .stl models according to two or more pivots (or any other idea?). 'Align' option allows to fit only one-to-one pivot. F.e. I have two models of the same teeth and I want to matching these.

Unfortunately there's no way to set several pivots as Source or Destination in Align.

In MM you could try selection based alignment instead:

1. Select small destination areas, Edit/Extract (Offset= 0) and Edit/Separate.

2. Set this new object as target (magnet icon in ObjectsBrowser)

3. Select corresponding areas on the other mesh and run Edit/AlignToTarget.

In Meshlab there's a Align tool which allows multiple point alignment...
