Adding flat stl figure to a curved surface.

meshmixer fisker.jpg

How can I get these two fishes to fit the curved surface in order to avoid any gap between these two stl objects?

This option often fails with complex meshes, and can have no separated shells and only one boundary:

A] Select all>Convert To>Open Part>Meshmix>MyParts>Click and drag onto your location

This option will not be  perfectly 'curved', but you and curve it manually then extrude a base downward

B] Select about 1/4 of one side of the object>Soft Transform and set falloff the the half way point of the object>rotate the widget to deform one half into the curvature your desire>repeat on the other half>Select the bottom ring of of triangles by zooming in very close and double clicking on a single triangle>Transform and pull the arrow down. If you want it exact without the base sticking through then try the boolean tools.
