Resizing error when exporting a model

Hello everybody!

I use iSense scanner for iPad to get 3D models. When importing .obj files in MM I have the scale in mm. To display the object in actual size I use the Units/Dimensions menu where I change millimeters to meters. But after exporting .obj files from MM, my object is again obtained in mm.

What is the reason? How can this problem be solved?

In the video, I open the file in the ideaMaker slicer, but if I open the model again in MM, the result is the same.

Best regards

Your slicer also needs to be set to meters.

Since most scanners, CAD and slicers work in millimeters, so I'd suggest making your life simpler and just leave it.

I couldn't leave it the way it is.
The solution turned out to be the simplest. It was necessary to resize the model using the Transform tab. After exporting the model, the changes were saved.

For some reason, immediately after zooming in, the model is displayed unstable, but after re-opening, everything is fine.

The Units/Dimensions tab is probably made only for a quick assessment of the scale of the scanned object.

Hope the video helps someone.
