Memory graphics card minimum requirements

Good morning,

I’m having trouble working with meshmixer. The program claims the GPU memory is insufficient and stops running. Does anybody know the minimum requirement for this memory? I’ve been searching in the meshmixer website for more info but there is no technical specifications about the graphics card.

Sorry, can't give some minimum requirements. The only official info I know about GPU requirements is that its driver needs to support Qt5 framework (see FAQs).

What's the file size(s) of the loaded mesh(es)? Are they textured?

Did you already update the GPU driver?

Which GPU are you on?

Did you try MM version 3.3 instead of 3.5 ("less" GPU requirements but almost same functionality - except ViewCube and .3mf file support)?

Is your GPU a NVIDIA Quadro P.... ? If yes: Here are similar reports (but no solution).

To ease GPU load you might try:

- Disable ViewCube ( in case of 3.5 via Preferences)

- Disable Anti-AliasedRendering (via Preferences)

- worst option, as this will affect some tools' previews and SHADER functionality: EnableBasicRendering (via Preferences)
