Generate Facegroups>Select a large enough body and separate to get a better visual on your target body>Select the target body and discard>Combine main body back in>Edit>Close cracks>Inspector

Dear,

First, if you didn't see my answer, Many thanks for your help and the tutorial.

I just tried to import the same file but as you can see on the attachment, the edges and connections between rocket parts are odd and rounded ?

Can you help me ? Thanks,

Read the stickied post.

"That's only a rendering issue on a low poly object.

Press space to open the Hotbox and in its Mesh/Normals section click on the sphere in the middle.

Or: via menu File (Meshmixer in case you're on Mac)/Preferences> MeshNormalMode: set to FaceNormals"

Go: Select (and make the selection) > Edit > Separate

The hotkey for 'Separate' is 'Y'.
