Boolean Difference

Hello everyone,

I'm working on a Project where I have two parts of brain, White matter and gray matter, and I need to remove the parts where they interact (since the data is not exact, there are some parts where I can see in White Matter and in Gray Matter). I used Boolean difference but after 20 minutes of running, the program crashes. I think maybe it's too complex for the program ?! I'd be glad to hear your ideas on how to do this.

Thanks

Boolean operations often fail on scans. Scans often have a mesh density that are too high for MM to deal with, and have noise  and open boundaries and non-manifold meshes. Hard to say without seeing your model.

Depending want done you probably should not being using a boolean operation.

Do you plan on 3D printing this?
