You should just connect an aiImage to the base color on an aiStandardSurface
And provide a valid path to a valid texture file
mistakenly I forgot to uploade my screenshot.
I mean I want to connect file node output alpha to base channel of aistandardsurface. But I don't see the texture that I put in my file node. Could you explain?
Ok, so you want to use the alpha as the base weight.
Most likely the texture does not have an Alpha channel
Add an aiColorCorrection node, and enable Alpha is Luminance
