Hi everybody

I was done one ship model with glass,I need transparent glass with alpha channel on vray render. I took all file format like(Png,Tga,exr) but the alpha channel will not came properly it’ll came with full white I attach the render image RGB and Alpha image TGA file .

But alpha came once I hide the glass on layer but I need alpha channel without hideing glass please any one can help me ??

Hi!

If there is an object you'll get a white alpha channel that's normal.

Render a separate layer or ID pass to get only the windows for compositing.

Hi, you need to change "affect channels" option to "color+alpha" or "all channels" under refraction advanced rollout in glass material attributes. 

Or you can create vrayobjectproperties for glass object, and set alpha contribution to 0, under Matte Properties in vrayobjectproperties attributes.
