Stretch marks on base material in ue4

So when I import my low poly fbx into unreal 4 im getting these stretch marks in the base checker pattern that comes with ue4. This is a problem because these stretch marks also distort all my material maps once I start applying them. I can apply materials in Maya and in substance painter with no distortion. But once imported into UE4 I get the problem. I have cut, unfolded and layed out all of my uv shells. I posted photos of whats happening in ue4.
