Rendered Textures Coming out too Bright

Hi, 

I'm currently working on a project for my course and I've started playing around with Renderman. I've encountered an issue where certain textures are coming out a lot brighter than they should. At first, I thought it was an issue with gamma correction on my textures however I have checked through my Maya preferences and also my pxrSurface settings and cannot find the issue. The texture looks perfectly fine in the substance renderer and the diffuse file also doesn't seem to have an issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
