Render Selection to Texture

I can not find my image as a result of render selection to texture, I have tried two different folders, closed the program and reopen, but without success.
I'm using Maya 2017, I'm a student and the current class I'm trying to reproduce is in it, does anyone know what the problem is?

Note: The file now appears, but as 0 bytes, ie nothing is saved during render selection to texture

Hi there!

Are you using Arnold for this?

Hm this is odd... When I do it it's fine...

Are you sure your model is selected when you perform the action, and are you going through Arnold > Utilities > Render Selection to Texture WITH the model selected? Because it should give you an EXR file. And are you sure no superfluous objects (like bones) are being included in the selection?

Yes, the object is selected, there is no bone in the scene, I imported this scene for May 2018 and managed to get the image, but I can not get it in Maya 2017, but I need it in Maya 2017

It's not the scene I'm working on, but even with a simple AO does not work, step by step I follow:

At this point my best guess is that you're using a version of Arnold that is incompatible with the version of Maya you're using... I'm really stretching it here but you did mention that you're working with different versions of Maya on the same computer. I sincerely don't know what I would do other than switch completely to the 2018 versions of Arnold and Maya (it's always best to have the latest version of every program).

My best advice would be to simply show this issue to the class teacher.

in fact I only had the Maya 2018, I was going to migrate to 2019, but to get a light studio for Maya 2017, I do not know how to reproduce the same in Maya 2018 yet, so I went back to Maya 2017
