Redshift "Remap Float" Alternative

Hopefully this isn't too specific or too weird of a question Smiley Embarassed

So I was a tutorial on YouTube that goes through creating an eye material using Wiki Human's provided assets and in the tutorial there comes a point where they use an "alRemapFloat" node to create a mask for the bump around the cornea (found here) - https://youtu.be/cDizWFrHLcM?t=663

So I am stuck with the bump over the cornea like this

The problem is I'm using Redshift so it doesn't seem like I have access to that node in this case.

So my question is, does anyone know of an equivalent node for Redshift or a work around in this case?

Any help would be much appreciated!

Thank you!

That step is not necessary Chas, just use a standard bump map with your texture.

Thank you for your reply!

I probably wasn't as clear as I could have been 😞

I'm trying to create a mask like this in order to mask out the bump map that is already linked to the material.

This person is using Arnold and achieved this by creating an"alRemapFloat" node that was driven by a ramp (ramp into Mask and the bump image into the Input).

That alReMapFloat just seems to have attributes that Redshift nodes don't, the bias and gain attributes are used here to change the mask color/intensity.

I hope I'm explaining this adequately Smiley LOL

Perhaps the real question is if it's possible to create a mask for a bump map using a ramp node using Redshift?

That is not difficult at all, you have the bump vein maps, just fade out a circle in photoshop and you are done.

You can try a circular ramp as well.

This was my next thought.

I just wanted to see if I could make it work using nodes instead but I haven't gotten it to work just yet.

Unfortunately I'm not going to be near my station for a bit so I can't post my Node Editor to show you what I've been doing just yet 😕

But I'll upload that soon and probably do the Photoshop option in the mean time.

Thank you again!
