I have a model of a building in Maya 2014, which has been UV mapped, and textured in Photoshop cs5. However, I wish to change the file so that I can add another attribute (such as incandescence or transparency). I do not know any way of doing this, except for the following:
Rename the photoshop file.
Delete the old one.
Create a new PSD network with the new attributes.
Copy each layer of the renamed file into the new version, one by one.
Optionally resize everything if the old file was too small or too big.
I just want to know how to add or remove attributes/layers more easily.
I have another question about window textures, but I will post another time.
