Particles not rendering in render view

Why can't I render particles in Arnold Render View? if you remove the particles, then everything works

Get an Info-level Arnold log and check for more errors and warnings.
We can see from the warning in the status bar ("empty points object") that no points are exported...so it's something about the nParticle set up

I found a solution. I removed the checkmark here here. Then everything worked
