No Open EXR File output option in Renderman settings

Seems I have lost the Open EXR Image format in the file output section in the rendering tab in Renderman 21.

There's also a blank spot on where it 'could have' been. 

Any input would help, found someone in CG talk with same issue but no solution.

Check plugin manager open exr.

I knew it had to do something with that, I can't find that PLug-in in the Plug-in manager I checked. How did I loose it? What is it's name? and how to get it back. Maya 2017.

The PLug-in was loaded, but for some reason it was not an option in the file output menu. Which then prompted me to restore Maya 2017 by renaming the prefs folder. Then once Maya restarted it appeared.

Hi, I recently upgraded to the Renderman 22.1, and it does autoload.......

I finally figured out the problem I had.......whatever renderman version you have MUST have it's compatible Maya version with it. Renderman 22.1 is only compatible with Maya 2018.2 or higher. If you use Renderman it's the compatibility with the software versions that must be correct. Hope my neato plug ins will still work with maya 2018, if not oh well. Must use the latest and greatest in software.

Thing is I was using renderman just fine. I’m using the latest version of
renderman with the latest version of maya. Next thing I knew when I went
back to renderman and the file output was missing. Within a matter of
minutes it just vanished
