I've created a texture in Substance Painter and exported it correctly (Base Color, Roughness, Metallic, Normal, Height, etc.), then imported those maps into Maya and connected them to an aiStandardSurface shader via Hypershade. In the viewport (with texture preview enabled), the material shows up properly. However, when I render using Arnold, the texture doesn't appear—initially it rendered completely black, and after several fixes, it now only shows greyscale or no texture/color at all. I’ve confirmed that the material is correctly assigned to the mesh, the object has proper UVs, the file nodes are connected with the correct color space (sRGB for color, Raw for non-color data), and a working light source (Area/Skydome) is present. I’ve also set up displacement correctly: I assigned the displacementShader via the mesh’s shape node (under Arnold > Displacement), set Subdivision to Catclark with 2–3 iterations, enabled Auto Bump, and adjusted Bounds Padding. I even tried assigning a new red base color manually to test visibility, but it still renders as greyscale or not at all. I also ensured the render view is using the correct AOV (beauty), not utility or normals, and tested rendering with a basic new sphere + shader, which still gives no proper color output.
