Hello,
I have come across an issue with Per-light AOV's that I can't seem to find an answer for. I have a scene where a client wants to animate some of the lights in comp as well as be able to tweak the coat and sheen AOV's of some objects in comp as well. With this in mind I decided that i needed to create a number of Per-light AOVs for each light and then I would have to rebuild every light pass and THEN combine the light passes together.
So for example; I have three lights A, B and C and in order to be able to control the individual lights as well as other passes within each light I would need:
Light A - diffuse, spec, coat, sheen, sss, emission (don't need background or transmission)
Light B - diffuse, spec, coat, sheen, sss, emission
Light C - diffuse, spec, coat, sheen, sss, emission
HOWEVER all the emission passes come out blank. my AOV's are titled (emission_lighta) each named respectively and matching AOV light group name. If i create an emissive AOV that is a global AOV they all render fine it's only when I try to split a AOV into light groups that the Emissive pass fails.
Anyone come across this issue before?
Also I have tried on CPU and GPU and it's not isolated to GPU (which I am using primarily.)
I am using Arnold 4.1.1.1 and Maya 2020
If anyone could shed some light on this issue that would be great, I can't send the scene file but I could try it on a test scene if I need to send over a scene file.
Thanks in advance!
