I get this error when i try to open a project file downloaded from Turbosquid. I am newbie with MAYA . Any help is greatly appreciated 😊

Just use File -> Import, instead of File -> Open Scene.
it worked! thank you. though my texture colors were much lighter than intended.
It worked!
Then Maya shut down and now even after deleting preferences and restarting Maya after I import instead of opening the scene the problem got back. All colors are distorted and rendered image has "burned" colors.
Any solutions?
