Mental Ray Render Passes

Hello, I am trying to render out passes using Mental Ray legacy passes with Mia material_x_passes. In the image below, the Beauty Pass is on the left. The three passes on the right, top to bottom are: Diffuse, DiffuseMaterialColor, and ReflectedMaterialColor. Isn't the diffuse pass contain
just the color information? It's not even close! There's hardly any color info. Mostly all black. Am I missing something here? Thanks for any help.
